Headed out about 9:30 am for a 20 minute walk to the National Museum. Took us several hours. Within minutes we were enjoying a one hour foot massage for $5. To these ladies foot meant whole leg but that was wonderful after 18 hours in airplanes yesterday.
We meandered as Sara shopped, took a tuk tuk for a tour and then finally made it to the museum. There is definitely a sense of 'sensory overload' here. Traffic, both noise and air pollution and so many crazy things to look at. Hundreds of motor scooters, many with whole families.
Some are used as taxis and we were offered rides for both of us to climb on one little seat. We declined. Lots of very interesting food along the streets.
Difficult to walk as cars and bikes park on the sidewalks so we have to weave around. One amazing thing we saw were trees laden with bats. You can see them hanging in this photos and as we watched, we could see them stretch their wings etc.

We bought several new books from these little entrepreneurs. New Cambodia Lonely Planet $3 |
We then stumbled across a nice little place to eat and had a wonderful dinner. Food is very spicy hot but delicious. Lots of fruit for sale on the streets among other things like dried fish, rice rolls etc
$5 dinner included fresh squeezed juice beverages. Yummy ginger chicken stir fry |
